Lawn Maintenance: Gibbs
Lawn will take care of your lawn for the entire season including
a Spring and Fall clean-up. Contracts are for full seasons
only but can be billed on a monthly basis. Call today
to see if we service your neighborhood. |
|
Aeration: This
should be done as needed to prevent lawn disease. Once
every other year is usually sufficient. Aeration helps
bring water, oxygen, and nutrients to the root system for solid
root development. Although any lawn will benefit, it
is necessary to aerate lawns regularly if they are growing
on compact
soils or have shallow root structures. |
|
Lawn Insecticide: The
majority of insects that damage lawns are easily eliminated when
active. Signs of insect damage include patchy areas and/or
the yellowing of your lawn. Please let us know when you
notice these signs or if a mole problem is suspected. Moles can
destroy your lawn as they tunnel to find a food source. Moles
are scavengers that will eat just about anything but they prefer
the grubs that live under many lawns. Grubs are beetle
larva and have a 2 year cycle. Gibbs Lawn offers a product
that lasts for 3 months and kills these grubs, sod webworm,
and other underground turf feeders. |
|
Seeding: The
best time to seed your lawn is between early August to mid
September. Call
ahead of time so we can determine the peak time to seed your
lawn this season and to schedule service. |
