Fertilization Program

APPLICATION 1

This is a dry, slow release fertilizer with pre-emergent herbicide. This product is applied in Spring. It promotes plant growth, green-up, and prevents the germination of some weeds including crabgrass.

APPLICATION 2

This is a slow release granular fertilizer and broad leaf weed control.

APPLICATION 3

This is a dry slow-release fertilizer that is applied in mid summer. If needed, weeds will be spot-treated as well. However, keep in mind that broadleaf weeds are most difficult to kill in the heat of the summer. The most important thing to do is water your lawn regularly.

APPLICATION 4

This application is a granular slow release fertilizer, and broadleaf weed control. It is applied in late summer.

APPLICATION 5

The end of season fertilizer that is high in potash to strengthen the grass plants root system for the winter months. It is applied in late September or in October as this is the only time that grass can lock in nutrients for the following year. Fall is also the best time to aerate your lawn – ask us about discounts for full-service customers.

Additional Lawn Care Services

This service includes spring and fall clean-up, weekly mowing and trimming. This is a monthly contract April 1st through November 1st.

Proper timing of treatment is important and this is determined by weather conditions and temperature. Please call for more information to control grubs, ants, fleas, and ticks.

Disease problems occur frequently in sod. This is mainly due to poor root structure and soil conditions. A fungicide can be applied at any time except during the heat of summer.

Aids in dislodging salt from the soil that occurs with dog spots and winter salt damage. Gypsum is a natural soil conditioner containing calcium and sulfur which promotes healthy growth of lawns.
